After unveiling the skies of South America in our first edition, we now turn our gaze toward its hidden shores. This second chapter invites you to discover Brazil beyond the obvious – a land where the Atlantic guards secret archipelagos, private islands, and barefoot luxury reserved only for those who seek the exceptional. Fasten your seatbelt.. here we go!.
- Secret Archipelagos in Brazil: Exclusivity over the Atlantic
Beyond well-known destinations like Angra dos Reis or Fernando de Noronha, lies another Brazil – one more reserved, almost invisible to traditional tourism. It is the Brazil of private islands scattered along the coasts of Santa Catarina and Bahia, where luxury villas blend seamlessly with the Atlantic Forest, cliffs, and coral reefs.
In Santa Catarina, for example, islands like Ilha do Papagaio or Ilha das Couves are home to eco-chic residences crafted from stone and noble woods, with private docks and natural pools carved into the rocks. Here, guests can scuba dive in crystalline waters, practice yoga facing the sea, or dine on freshly harvested oysters collected by local fishermen at dawn.
In Bahia, further north, hidden properties near Itacaré and the Maraú Peninsula are surrounded by tropical jungle and virgin golden beaches. Villas offer high-end services: personal chefs reinterpreting Afro-Brazilian cuisine with organic ingredients, open-air spas, electric buggies for exploring forest trails, and helicopter pads framed by palm trees. Experiences often include catamaran sunset sails, wild cacao rituals, or private samba and capoeira lessons under the stars.
Getting to these paradises is part of the journey: private jets land at secondary airports like Ilhéus, Navegantes, or Porto Seguro, followed by air or sea transfers to destinations off the tourist grid – now favored by celebrities, executives, and high-profile travelers seeking privacy and identity-driven luxury.
These islands aren’t built for crowds, but for the essentials: untouched nature, sensory beauty, and moments meant only for those living them.
Real fact: Brazil has over 2,000 registered private airstrips – the highest number in all of South America – making it a perfect playground for executive aviation.
Enjoy the beach…See you in the next edition.
